The Basics of the Muslim’s Prayer

Introduction The five prayers are among the best acts of worship that the Muslim performs.  Performing them is the best deed after having the correct belief in God and His Messenger.  Prophet Muhammad, may Allah raise his rank, was asked what the best deed was and he  said it was performing the obligatory prayers at the beginning of their times (al­-Bayhaqiyy):

Kisah Nabi Isa ‘alaihis salam; Nabi yang Lahir di Bawah Pohon Kurma

Seorang nabi sekaligus manusia pertama di dunia, yakni Nabi Adam ’alaihis salam, muncul ke alam ini tanpa melalui proses kelahiran sebagaimana lazimnya. Ia tidak memiliki Bapak dan Ibu. Demikian pula keberadaan istri Nabi Adam, yaitu Siti Hawa, yang diciptakan dari tulang rusuk Nabi Adam. Allah SWT kembali menunjukkan kekuasaan-Nya melalui lahirnya Nabi Isa ’alaihis salam. Nabi Isa tidak mempunyai Ayah. Ia hanya memiliki Ibu bernama Siti Maryam.
